NCLB PARENT GUIDE - Debuts August 16, 2004

The National Center for Learning Disabilities and Schwab Learning have co-produced a new Parent Guide on the No Child Left Behind Act. The guide seeks to provide parents of struggling learners with a basic understanding of key NCLB provisions and ways those provisions can be used to help improve the academic performance of their child.

  Arizona Parents for PubLic Education advocates a collaborative strategy of the APPLE Coalition is to create an organized voice of parents throughout Arizona.  They promote communication between parents and legislators in order to bring about positive change in public education.

        AskABLE is a free on-line disability resource established at the University of Wisconsin-Stout.  It is a question/answer format for the topics of accommodations, assistive technology, the ADA, employment, and specific disability concerns.

     Enhancing Arizona's Parent Network (EAPN) provides information in Spanish and English, including articles and calendars of upcoming trainings and activities
